1. How much distance between trees is needed to set up the hammock?

You should wrap the tree-friendly Python straps around sturdy trees about 12-18 feet apart.

Yes, each hammock comes with the necessary straps.

3. How do I wash the hammock if I've been using it a lot?

Remove the carabiners and slings prior to wash. If the hammock is soiled or stained, use the recommended amount of Grangers Down Wash + Repel. Do not use fabric softener, bleach, or stain removal products. Wash the hammock by itself on a gentle, cold water setting. Hang to dry. The hammock will dry quickly in warm/dry environment. Do not stuff back in stuff sack while still damp or wet.
